We built Cuper because modern dating deserved better.
Cuper started with a frustration that a lot of people share: dating apps weren't built for connection. They were built for engagement. We wanted to fix that.
The problem we couldn't ignore
We noticed something in how people talked about dating apps: they used them because they felt they had to, not because they enjoyed it. The experience of swiping left and right on faces felt hollow. Matches that went nowhere. Conversations that died. Trust that eroded.
At the same time, the research was consistent: the things that predict long-term relationship satisfaction, emotional attunement, communication style, attachment security, shared values, aren't visible in a photo. They require something closer to understanding.
What we built
Cuper is a personality-first dating app. We put your MBTI type, attachment style, sun sign, moon sign, and interests at the center of your profile, and use these to surface people who might genuinely connect with who you are, not just how you look.
We add verification to build trust. We add compatibility labels to give context. We add conversation starters to lower the barrier to real connection. And we build it all with a privacy-first, safety-first philosophy.
